Recep Bekci

I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Research in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

My research focuses on data-driven optimization models for decision-making under uncertainty. I combine techniques from operations research and machine learning to solve problems in inventory control, revenue management, and assortment optimization.

Previously, I received my Ph.D. in Operations Management from McGill University, advised by Mehmet Gümüş and Sentao Miao. Before that, I earned my BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University.
